PSA - The Kanopy Channel

Do you know about Kanopy? It is a streaming service that partners with the Public Library system to allow digital access, for free, to their vast A.V. resources. Their inventory is second to none, and is a fine (and did I mention free?) alternative to something like Criterion or HBO Max and is as likely as either of these to have the film you are looking for. You sign up initially with your library card number, then you can rent a certain amount of titles per month. Their app is available on most Smart t.v.'s and streaming devices and you can also watch on their website.

So, Viva the Public Library. No, seriously. Hands off, ass holes.

One unfortunate matter to note. It was pointed out to me that not all library systems have Kanopy, as the cost of the service has gone up considerably over the years and libraries, generally running as lean and mean as they can these days, sometimes can't afford the service.
